As Lunar New Year/Chinese New Year comes to an end, so too does this tale with Rainbow Dash. The festivities gotta ramp up somehow and what better way than flooding the pony with so much flab she becomes part of the landscape.
I hope you all enjoyed this series!
A crowd of elite ponies had gathered in the exterior courtyard of Canterlot’s castle. A buzz in the air as they knew it was time to unveil the Sheng Ma. “Rumor has it that they’ve got quite the volunteer this time.” One pony said in the crowd. “Biggest one the princesses have ever put together.”
“Understandable. With how long Princess Luna has been gone, she’s likely been wanting to really lay it on thick to the Sheng Ma.” The wordplay made others laugh as the crowd was truly excited. Especially with how spectacular the last one had been with Big Mac. The two princesses had to outdo themselves.
The main castle doors opened as the crowd of a hundred ponies trotted in through its opulent halls. Led by the castle guards to the main ballroom that overlooked the inner courtyard. The perfect place to gaze upon a giant curtained display that stretched around a good chunk of the garden. Even without seeing the Sheng Ma, those there knew that the hidden pony had to be wonderful. Why else would they need a curtain that massive?
At the ballroom’s end were two thrones where the sisters sat. They relished the buzz, soaking it up with glee. Practically getting drunk off the collective excitement as they waited for sunset. The twilight time was when the ceremony would truly take place.
Which gave the two some time to greet their guests. Making pleasantries and the like before it was time. “Welcome everypony to this year’s celebration. It’s been twelve long years since our last get-together.” Celestia said as she fluttered above the crowd. Those words got plenty of clopping applause from those there.
“I cannot tell you how much I’ve missed these shows.” Luna told them. By her sister’s side as she had the brightest smile. “Countless moons, I yearned for home. To make amends with Equestria. But above all else, this was the highlight of my years. The Sheng Ma… Which is why my dear sister and I have worked around the clock to make this pony the biggest. The best that history has ever seen.”
Celestia let Luna gush for a moment. Happy to let her have the stage before gently butting in. “And that means more fortune, good blessings, and luck for all ponies in every corner of Equestria. Maybe even beyond its borders.” That was the main reason they were there. Celestia didn’t want anypony to think that Luna had gone a little too far with her methods.
Then again, the sun-based princess was just as culpable. The two worked well in tandem when it came to Rainbow Dash’s feeding. Which they were eager to show off. “Now then, is it not time to show our Sheng Ma?”
“You’re right, Luna.” Their magic activated together as everypony there looked back outside. The dual magic beams tugged on the main display rope. Dropping the curtain in an instance as dozens of gasps filled the ballroom.
There, on a dais, was Rainbow Dash. The fattest pony in all of Equestria’s history. A giant cotton candy blue blob of fat that could hardly be considered a pegasus anymore. Not when her wings couldn’t flap or flutter any longer. Keeping her permanently grounded as she looked over the rim of her feedbag. She tried to keep her eyes away from the mirrors set up to let the Sheng Ma reflect on her true sense of enormity. A reality Rainbow Dash wished to avoid.
Some questions came up about the feedbag. “Around the clock feeding once we ran into a small snag.” Luna explained as she led the Sheng Ma party outside. “All of her favorites pour through the feedbag. Never a moment to truly rest. A full tummy that’s helped to really accelerate her gains.”
“Come now, sister. Let’s not go too much into the details.” Those were best left behind closed doors. The kind of chatter that Celestia was happy to have one-on-one with Luna. “Anyway, please, take in all of her wondrous flesh before we work our magic.”
Hearing that made Rainbow Dash moan. There’s more? She thought that everything had been leading up to this moment. Why else would she be fed morning, noon, and night? Stuffed in her sleep as Luna ramped up the feeding nightmares so her feedbag would work overtime.
All of which caused her to be a tremendous flabby monster. Her hooves were far from the ground, sunken into rolls and buried. Unable to wobble them around any longer in protest. She wanted to do something, anything, to feel like she still had control over her own body after the relentless two weeks of feeding and fattening. Doubly so now that she was on display for all these elite ponies.
Each of them couldn’t help but press and poke and explore the Sheng Ma. Hooves gently squishing up into different parts of Rainbow Dash. Sinking in several inches before finding any bit of resistance. Maybe it’d be fine if it were just a single pony. But there were dozens at any point with others commenting on her giant ass or meaty flank. Some noted that her chins were succulent.
Stop staring! One of you help me! Please! Rainbow Dash silently scolded the crowd. Pitiful eyes darted all over as the princesses took a backseat. Just what are those two gonna do to me next? At least with this nonstop fattening, she knew what to expect.
Now Rainbow Dash was in uncharted skies. She’d gotten little titters of the ‘big event’ from the princesses. Yet neither were willing to say much else. Likely wanting to keep things a surprise until tonight. Will it really be over after this? Rainbow Dash had to wonder. Uncertain of what fate had in store for her after the ceremony was said and done.
The party carried on for a while longer. Plenty of ponies enjoyed the snacks as more enjoyed the sight of Rainbow Dash. It felt like a nightmare to her that she was watching from the outside. Fully aware after all this time that this was her reality. All she could do now was brace herself for what would be the end to this Sheng Ma.
A bell rang out from the castle as a full moon loomed overhead. “If we may have your attention.” Celestia called out to the crowd. “It is now time for the main event. You all should move to the viewing spot so my sister and I can get things started.”
They all did so as Rainbow Dash was left alone with the princesses once more. Her eyes darted nervously around as she could only keep sight on one at any given time. The fluttering of their wings and clopping of hooves made her sweat.
“No more food… I can’t eat anymore…”
“Relax, dear. There isn’t another bite you have to eat.” Celestia told her reassuringly. Somehow, Rainbow Dash believed her when she said as such.
“Although you may wish to brace yourself for what’s to come.” Luna told her as she took position behind the giant blue hill. “I have been training around the clock to do this perfectly.”
Celestia sighed, shaking her head. “And here I thought I loved Sheng Ma too much.” She said with a simple tease to Luna.
“Longing makes the heart grow fonder.” That much was true given that Luna had become quite a ferocious feeder. “Plus we’ve bonded so much over our Sheng Ma.” Celestia couldn’t deny that as she’d been looking forward to this just as much as Luna.
The time for talking was done as they took position. Fluttering in the air above Rainbow Dash as their respective magical auras began to flare up. The manifestation of all that fortune and luck they’d made mention of. A mixture of golden and sapphire blessings that swirled around the giant blimp before blasting Rainbow Dash.
Two trails of magic hit her. One for the front, the other for the back. Imbuing her with so much magic felt strange. Though Rainbow Dash had but a moment to process it.
No! No! Not again! No! Her internal cries were understandable. She was growing fatter once again!
It seemed like whatever growth she’d done up to this point was a warm up. Or maybe this was the starting size of the blubbery balloon they’d blow her up into. Either way, Rainbow Dash was helpless to their magical blessings. Stuck on her stomach, watching with pure fright as she continued to fatten with lard. Confirming her worst fears up to this point: there was no going back.
Fatter she grew, bigger she blimped, it was truly an awesome moment to watch for those in the castle. Each pony at the party marveled at how the princesses could make Rainbow Dash fatten like that in real time. Treating her as though the blue pegasus was a marshmallow growing within a microwave. Equally molten and gooey with an untold volume of flab filling her frame.
There was a small chatter within the gala as Rainbow Dash came close to filling the entire courtyard. “My! She’ll crush the castle at this rate!” Somepony noted in a panic. Their fears weren’t unfounded. A wall of sky blue blubber inched dangerously close to the windows.
A chatter filled the air as another pony stomped loud enough to get their attention. “Some of you are too young to remember the previous Sheng Ma.” This regal pony started. “The princesses will manage her size. Shrinking her as needed to accommodate more of their fortune.”
Such a thing began to take place. Almost like the princesses could hear the conversation happening inside. The fortune spells took a small pause as Luna called out to Celestia. “Shall we reduce her size now? If so, how much?”
“I think now’s as good a time as any.” Celestia remarked. “We’ll shrink her down to what she started with. That ought to do.” The two confirmed as such as they had to ensure their wavelengths were synched up for a tremendous order.
Rainbow Dash wasn’t privy to any of this. For a moment, she felt a wave of relief wash over her soul. It’s finally over! She could’ve cried tears of joy. Such happiness was destined to have a short lifespan as a new spell took over.
It was strange. She still was big and beefy. Swaddled in layers of lard that made it impossible to move. So why was everything growing bigger around her? It made no sense that the world around her changed but she herself remained the same.
Celestia spelled it out for her. “You’re likely confused. It’s an understandable reaction.” She said, “The short of it is that you’re still big on a smaller scale. You’ve retained your ‘size’ but your ‘mass’ is reduced to something for us to work with.”
She tried her best to wrap her head around it. Rainbow Dash was as big as she was when the blessings began but she felt huge. “And don’t think for a second this is over.” Luna butted in. “We only shrunk you down to work with you in this space. This’ll repeat several more times. Right sister?”
“Well, yes Luna. But-”
Celestia didn’t finish her sentence as Luna began to hone her blessings once more to deposit within Rainbow Dash. “Here we go again.” The sun princess sighed with a laugh. Ready to rev up her magic along with Luna. Leaving their Sheng Ma to worry just how many times this would happen before they considered her topped off.
“Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!” Rainbow Dash perked up. She knew that voice! She’d look if she could to see Twilight Sparkle and company there in the courtyard. “This has gone on far enough!”
The other members of the Mane Six stood in the courtyard. Staring up at the airborne princesses with varying looks of determination. Even Fluttershy meant business compared to her normal, timid self. “This is quite the garish ceremony, don’t you think?” Rarity asked as she tried not to stare at Rainbow Dash.
A hard feat as each of the ponies were in shock how big she had become. Bigger than Big Mac even back in Ponyville. A testament to how much the princesses wanted this Sheng Ma to be grander than all the rest. Still, they couldn’t let themselves get distracted. They were there to save their friend and put an end to this madness.
“My dear student, you don’t understand. This is all for the greater good of Equestria.”
“And there is a certain fun to be had here.” Luna chimed in. That’d been her motivation this whole time. “I do not wish to incapacitate you the same way we have with your friend. However, nothing shall stop us from seeing this Sheng Ma through.”
Celestia grimaced. “Sister, perhaps we should dial it back and not lose sight of what this is meant to accomplish.” Normally it was Luna who acted as the voice of reason in these situations. Doing all she could to keep her sister under control. Yet, it was as she said, centuries of not getting to have fun during the Sheng Ma celebration left her with pent-up desires. A need to feed and fatten a pony into enormity.
“We were here to try and reason with you two. But if that can’t be done then we’ll have to take a stand.” Twilight Sparkle knew in her heart they were outmatched. Though they couldn’t back out at this point. Rainbow Dash needed their help.
Luna wasn’t going to have any of that as Celestia knew that she had to support her sister. Even without the unhinged fattening, this was an important tradition. No way she could let the ponies of Equestria down now. Their magic flared up as they knew what needed to be done.
“So, what’s the plan?” Applejack asked as the enchantments were warming up.
“Uh…” Twilight Sparkle shirked. She hadn’t thought that things would escalate to this level. “Run!” She cried out as magical blasts rained down upon them. These spells wouldn’t hurt. Only immobilize the remaining Mane Six until they could properly be dealt with.
What followed was a mystical laser show over the moonlit castle. Constant streams of concentrated magic flared out as the five were able to dodge, dip, dive, and duck out of the way. Avoiding every attack with nimble swiftness.
“You must understand it's for the greater good!”
“Yes, now hold still and accept your punishment!”
Fat chance of that as the two goddesses had cornered Pinkie Pie against one of the many mirrors used to show Rainbow Dash how big she’d become. “Uh oh!” She giggled before dipping beneath the double dose of magical blasts.
Rather than vanish into nothingness, the reflective surface pinged the magical blasts into space. Only for them to bounce off the moon as its bright light was a reflection of the sun. The angle of which was perfectly attuned with a familiar barn within the depths of Sweet Apple Acres.
“Don’t worry, big bro. I’ll keep an eye on you until the others return.” Apple Bloom promised the giant red mound as she gently washed him. Jumping back as the combined golden sapphire blast broke through the rafters and sunk into his supple skin.
Nothing happened at first but an immense rumbling shook him to his core. “Not… Again!” He whined before beginning to swell outward. Smothering Apple Bloom in a flash before overtaking the entirety of the farm. And with no sign of stopping!
No pony in the Canterlot castle knew of this. At least not at first. Only when Fluttershy took to the air to avoid all the magical bursts did she spot a giant red mound growing in the distance. “Um… excuse me?” She called out as Celestia and Luna paid her no mind.
Their focus instead on the other four. Cornering them with magic right up against Rainbow Dash. “We’ve never had multiple Sheng Ma before. Maybe we can make this a new part of the ceremony.” Luna mused.
“Hello? We have a problem.”
Celestia tried to keep her sister’s impulses under control once more. “Though you all won’t be at the same level as other Sheng Ma. We’ll maybe allow you to keep your mobility.” She would’ve preferred not to go this far. But a punishment was warranted for interrupting the Sheng Ma Festival.
“Something’s coming!” Fluttershy tried to speak up so others could hear her about the impending wave of Big Mac blubber.
But it was too late. The rumbling of his growing body shook Canterlot. Causing the two princesses to miss their shot once again. This time blasting Rainbow Dash as she tensed up. This wasn’t like before. Something big was coming and there was no real way to brace herself for this level of fattening.
Then everything went dark. Every pony in Equestria was cast into a doughy dark void. Smothered by blubber that went on for miles in every direction. The entire kingdom was now one of two features: blue or red. Rainbow Dash or Big Mac. The spells from both princesses had caused their weight to skyrocket quite literally.
It took considerable effort for the princesses to rescue every citizen of Equestria. Anypony who could help did so, freeing those trapped under colossal blobs. “I guess the first blessing of Sheng Ma is that no pony was hurt.” Pinkie Pie said with a laugh. Though she was right. Nothing short of a miracle that everypony was fine.
Although Luna couldn’t share that relief. “Everypony, please gather around.” She said as those who were close did so. “I owe you all an apology. This is my fault for causing things to spiral. I’d been gone for so long that I overdid it with the Sheng Ma.”
“Your heart was in the right place.” Celestia said. “And I can’t cast blame. I myself get into these festivities a little too much as well. That and I should’ve set better boundaries with you.”
This was all well and good. That the two could understand their role in things going as crazy as they did. It felt a bit moot, however, when they were specks upon the rolling mountain range of Rainbow Dash’s blubbery body. Stretching as far as the eye could see in any direction until it ran up against Big Mac’s form.
“I think we can all forgive you. You had our best interests at heart too.” Twilight Sparkle said. “Though maybe you can find a way to allocate all these ‘blessings’ to someone else. Or find a way to reduce their sizes.” Luna and Celestia looked at each other. For all the good that would do, they weren’t sure how to best approach a monumental task such as that.
“Um, not to interrupt.” Fluttershy spoke up. This time, they listened. “Has anypony seen Applejack?” She was worried that they’d forgotten their friend somewhere beneath the continental ponies.
Rarity had an answer. “I saw her go off that way. I believe she wanted some time with Rainbow Dash. Perhaps an apology of her own.” That would make the most sense considering how Applejack had, in a way, set things up to play out this way.
She was half right. Quite the journey for Applejack to climb all those chin rolls. Moving all that cheek blubber to the side in order to peer down at the disoriented Rainbow Dash. She could barely hear in such a sorry state as her friend spoke to her.
“I’ll admit, I wanted to see ya get some just desserts. Some humble pie. Things may have gotten a touch out of hoof.” She admitted before cracking a devious smile. “Yet I can’t deny ya look much better this way.” The marshmallow mound whimpered and whined. Unable to do much but moan as Applejack leaned down to whisper in her muffled ear.
“Happy Sheng Ma Rainbow Dash. Hope yer ready to live like this for the next twelve years.”
I hope you all enjoyed this series!
