This is definitely true. I feel as if a lot of furry artists get themselves caught in this. Once they take fetish commissions that's pretty much the art that they do exclusively. Well, if you want to get yourself out of this and broaden your base of commissioners (or even just audience) then start doing art that you WANT to do. Then people who like that sort of art will start commissioning you.

Exactly. If you hold 50 streams where you tell people the subject of images have to involve diapers in some way, you really have no place to complain when people start to only ask you to draw that.
