The face is absolutely adorable. I'm not usually critical, so please forgive me cause im not exactly perfect myself but im not sure whats wrong, but the nappy look a bit wierd, like mebbe it cuts up too high or doesnt curve round enough, but something doesnt quite look right with that front leg and the way the nappy hugs it regardless though, the pic is adorable
*giggles* That is true. Horses have got to be a bit trickier to pad up than most animals. I wonder how a caterpillar would be diapered *giggles* thats one of the wonderful things about art, reality doesn't exist. Anything the artist can come up with can potentially come true. I sometimes think that when I look at something i've drawn. I look at it and think..."That wouldn't exist if I hadn't drawn it. I created something out of nothing" Theres something very very satisfying about making something out of nothing. It makes me feel complete. Sorry i've gone off on a tangent. you're one of those artists I aspire to and I just hope that one day im as good as you. Practice Practice Practice
I just love how you do your shading - I've never been able to do cel shading properly ;_; silly vectors! The pose is SO adorable, although the anatomy bugs me slightly - the proportions are baby-size, but the curves somehow feel very ... adult-ish? o.o Nevertheless, good job X3
I posted a tutorial about it a few days ago, maybe it'll help? I have trouble with soft shading myself, could never get the hang of it haha.
Curves as in the curve the back, rather then it being more straight? I do actually agree. The problem is that when I give it a baby stomach/back area, it didn't look right and too busy. Gotta get things wrong to get it right sometimes.

Yeah, I checked it out a while ago... It doesn't teach me what I don't already know though ;_; My main problems are that I can't draw nice curved lines for nuts (even with the pen tool!), and I just can't decide how the shapes of the shadows should be like XD But thanks anyway!
Yeah, I know - it's kind of ironic that I actually don't get to practice illustration techniques as much now that I went professional - I end up animating more than I'm drawing XD I think I was able to ink relatively well a few years ago (http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs22/f/2....._rhyfe2002.jpg, but oh god the anatomy...) but I think all that's gone down the drain now ;_;
Hnggg everything about this ;-; I love it
I really can't think of words because I'm really freaking tired but I love the way you drew him <333 so much, I might actually have to fave this so I can give you a proper comment later pointing out everything I adore about it.
I really wish I had money right now, I'd totally commission something like this from you >: Great job Neko <3
