One of the many kinds of Drake that exist within Lussin. This particular one is amongst the smallest, yet it makes up for size with an aerial capability rarely seen amongst Drakes. While not capable of true flight, an Air Drake is capable of gliding considerably distances thanks to the stretchable membrane that connects most of its body. It's tail is also capable flattening allowing it some control of it's gliding. Air Drakes have mild levels of camouflage with it's underside being a pale blue while most of the rest of it's body is brown color, with some variants have been seen as green. Air Drakes mostly feast on small critters (insects, birds, small mammals, reptiles, etc.) but they also will feed on carrion. If threatened and their camouflage doesn't work, they have two different methods of self defense, a deafening sonic scream capable of making a human stumble, and attaching themselves at their attacker's face to confuse and startle them seeking to be more trouble than they are worth.
