Before we start, let me tell a short story:

You may saw someone complain something about the style of interior decoration, the classic Baroque style and sleek modern style on any social media.
They usually said: What made interior decoration from Baroque style into technology style? Why do they change the fancy and beautiful decoration style into the cold and boring decoration style? etc. Yeah, I had the same question, too.

But, if one day I had a house and I need to make a decision about the style of interior decoration.

I probably will choose the modern style.


Okey, end of that short story. Back to the main story.

In the Chinese tradition, people will do the spring cleaning before the Lunar New Year come. The spring cleaning means "Take out old stuff and prepare to meet the whole new year"
Not just the family, most of the company will do the spring cleaning, so does the place I worked.

There is a cupboard which is using for storage our personal stuff like bag, water bottle or phone near my worktable. And yes, it's a wooden cupboard with some classic Baroque decoration.
It's not that old but very dirty. Because we usually don't clean that cupboard, you can see a thick dust on it. Well, it's spring cleaning right now, so I planned to clear it up totally.

And I just lost my mind in less than 5 minutes.

As I said, it's a Baroque style wooden cupboard. The dust just stuck in all of the decorative groove. It's a huge disaster to clear up all of them.

There is a filing cabinet next to the wooden cupboard. It's just a normal metal cabinet and had the same thick dust as the wooden cupboard. It only took me about 5 minutes to clean, and the wooden cupboard, it took me over half hours to clean.

Maybe that's why people left the classic Baroque style.
