Project TWN, short for Transient Weapon Nanodroids, conducted by Ex-GUN Scientist: Aria Webb.

Project TWN is a continuation of the scrapped GUN project, Project CASA, short for Chaos Advanced Shadow Android. The goal of which was to replicate the Copycat System created by Dr. Eggman used for his line of Shadow Androids and Metal Sonic, allowing a robot to mutate and empower themselves by copying the biodata of living organisms. Project CASA focused on specifically replicating Shadow the Hedgehog's biodata, effectively recreating the Ultimate Life Form with the addition of being under the complete control of GUN.

But as Project CASA began to eat into the budget without any signs of success, the project was ultimately cancelled.

After the attack on GUN HQ during Eggman's planetary takeover, the GUN lost all sense of control and communication between members, effectively broken.

Aria Webb both determined to survive and not only continue the project, but improve upon greatly, reached out to Dr. Eggman effectively joining forces, Aria built machinery for Eggman and he supplied her with equipment to further her research.

As the war came to an end, Aria continued Project TWN in secret, finally resulting in five successfully functioning androids. Her plan for the androids? The complete destruction of GUN, something that Eggman had not sought to completion... however Aria's plan would soon enter complications as an unexpected accident would occur...
