An interesting piece I did for a section of the Thunderheart universe.

There is a series within the timeline called Sentience, which follows a woman in 2012 who is digitized into an Ai and paired up with a car platform.

As she goes through life with the struggles of being without a biological body, she spends a lot of time in the VR space (Even before VR was even a common place thing) as a way to do things like have hands and at least craft things physically (Even if it is just digital). For others, VR is a vacation that is just a view into a digital world, for Mia, the virtual world is very physical.

Replicating her old home, objects, furniture, even foods down to the taste and texture; she puts the work in to try to chase what she lost now that she is digital.

To keep her self and her own self image separate from her own personal struggles, she creates a Sona to interact publicly with those who do work and deal with her. Thus Bandit is created; an androgynous Cybernetic designed Allosaur anthro with distinct features to blend her angst, her cold & bullish outlook, as well as her more larger than life aspects of her character... The world can't see just how depressed and not okay you are if they only can see the shield of your persona...

Such an interesting story to be working on, and I cannot wait to show off more. So dark and absolutely horriffic. c:
