Between Sea and Servitude - Red Lantern Cover Image

This is a collaborative image, obviously. . . between myself and
Alector Just like the rest of the comic :)
The title will get jostled around for the actual book, but. . . this is the completely finished, just-as-bloody-as-I-wanted-it cover for Red Lantern, The Crimson Divine (namely volume 1) I've been tweaking it for almost a month now, and I could probably torture myself more. . . but I won't. Puttin' down the stylus now.
I've also submitted a version that's suitably sized for desktop use, since a whole buncha' you asked. If it's not EXACTLY your resolution, I'm sure you can still make it work. No whining :P
And the printed version of the first novel is still currently slated to come out this January at Further Confusion and online, through Sofawolf Press. Once we have a link, I'll make it available.

I must say, Rukis, that the characters and the world you've created are amazing. I honestly am blown away by each and every page you and Alecto put out.
And when the book comes out, I am going to buy it. BUY IT SO HARD. And not just for the missing X-rated pages (though I would be lying if I didn't say that wasn't a tiny part of the reason), but because it really feels fleshed out, and (given the circumstances) realistic for the characters to do what they do, and why. Also because I love the feeling of actually holding a comic book, not just looking at it online. Mmmm, old-school nerdery :D
This is beautiful nonetheless though ~ I love the composition and the midway transition into two different scenes is really captivating !
thanks for sharing this work, as well as, putting the time and effort into the visual story telling you've engrossed yourself in. Fantastic all around ~

(I had to stop myself from going over everything I like about this series......Characters, Concepts, backdrops......the story itself! .....but I don't wanna leave and essay. haha)

I haven't read any of the story but I love the guy on the right, he looks so classy and austere.
I just LOVE the artwork and the storyline, so far. I can't Wait until you release this book for sale, I'm gonna buy it faster then you can say "Red Lantern"!
Amon & Luther are just so.. so.. Perfect I wish I could draw like you. You're amazing and Alectorfencer's work is so wonderfull. So much details and colour :D
Like Amon's dancing outfit, My God. Me gusta. You should totally add a "Donate" button somewhere, I'd deposit so much money just for you to continue this amazing work you're doing.
