The basic life-cycle of application rejection at the resume review stage:
1) Submit your resume
2) Wait
3a) Receive a message that your application was rejected
3b) Never hear back. Either reach out to the recruiter to proceed to 3a OR step 4
4) Remove the application from your tracking sheet
5) Dust yourself off and apply for another job
