Definitely not the final of her design, but currently the most finished image I have of her! Still need to adjust colors, edit patterns, and create proper references for her back/inside of mouth.
Suppose to be a personal character to help explore and connect with my culture (Mexican American, seeking to learn more about my family/home in Mexico/What led up to my family relocating.) I regret not learning Spanish when I was younger as it has created barriers of communication with not just family, but fellow Hispanics, and it makes me sad. I love my roots, but those roots need to be better respected, represented, and cultivated so I may be the best I can be. She's suppose to help me with that :) very much a "What I want to become" rather than a "What I currently am"
Her pronouns may be any (She/They/He etc, not picky.) She's based off of my love of big cats and dinosaurs, with inspiration from Scarlet Macaws and Resplendent Quetzals! I suppose you can think of her as a Smilodon of sorts, with a dash of T-Rex of course. She is able to shift into a proper dinosaur, but I have yet to have the time/energy to draw that.
Personality wise, she is energetic and boisterous, her emotions are strong. Can be a bit of a handful, may tend to wander if she catches something of interest. Might bark, but won't bite.. Much. Seeks to learn and grow through her culture, currently learning Spanish. Probably playing "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS" on repeat.
