Do the angels of death in that hereafter only help those who are recently deceased ease into their new life in whatever plane they find themselves by mentioning and telling them their vices and what they did to earn their place there and send them on their way and that's it or are they a little more involved in that than simply digging them up out from their graves in the afterlife and keep an close eye some of them more so than others to make sure they don't cause too much trouble to anyone or everyone that's nearby if they're more of a threat are now then what they were previously in their old life (Like say for example if they were a terrorist or a thug or gang member or a notoriously infamous Mafia crime family, and so on from that etcetera, etcetera, etcetera) Then with that same set Angel who oversaw their arrival Act immediately to prevent them from causing any danger or threat to the current afterlife they were taking up residence currently at the moment all In an effort to err on the side of caution and be safe to make sure no one will be harmed or threatened as other people were in their former life?

They are probably what you'd call the highest authority in each plane, so if someone does happen to be causing problems and the usual natural deterrents aren't working, an angel can definitely step in to take care of things. They also greet visitors to new planes they haven't visited yet. They also mingle with their own plane's people sometimes, engaging in what they have to offer

I hope this question doesn't sound like it's repetitive to other questions I've asked, or at least doesn't sound stupid in some shape or form when I ask it, but when people who arrive in whatever plane they do after they died, do they always remain the same demon as they were As soon as they arrive Or can they be allowed to change into any other demon they prefer then they're one they currently are and live on a different Plane of existence altogether And does that allow them to choose how they might be able to look compared to how they arrived there in the first place which I hope is making sense in some form or another in the way I'm asking the question?

You'll always be a demon at base if you showed up as a demon, which means whatever other plane traits you take on, you'll still keep some demon features. For Bel it's his corepret demon tail, for a Carnalval demon they usually keep an animal trait of some kind
