I have to take a moment and say I've always enjoyed the kinds of topics you cover in slightly damned. How many other stories entertain the question: "Well what if all the prophecies/history are BS?"
It's such a small thing, but so important to remember.

I can see that! But in this case, the specific "thousand years" refers to duration of The Great War as the main characters currently understand it. This number only came up relatively recently in the comic's archive on page 1113. :3
