Suddenly, I had the urge to draw something sea-related again after all these years. I also wanted to depict another Galeanic people and it's time for the Galennians, the stoat-folk of the Levropian continent. Ironically, it's not the Samgurtians, but the Galennians, who are the Galeanics with the most penchant on seafaring. There is a stereotype that Galennian men have three fates: be a merchant, join the navy, or become unemployed. It's of course exaggerated, but there is a grain of truth to it, because around 35–40% of the branch is filled by Galennians.

The text on his sailor's cap means "Galeanic Sea Fleet" in Pirusavian (which is a standardized dialect of Mervalian). The fleet is the largest in FPR Pirusavia and is headquartered in Niv-Hetanburg, Federated State of Galennia. The fleet is very dominant so as to some might joke the Galeanic Sea Fleet is the entirety of the Pirusavian Navy. The flag on the background is the flag of the Pirusavian Navy.

As a sailor, this mustelid fellow needs to know how to use a sextant, of which he's holding, and I believe he has the skills to use it. An interesting name for the most interesting branch of any armed forces worldwide, I know.
