Viking III was the Scandinavian Entry into the World Expo, stolen among the many Robots in Ep.1. The Mecha saw combat in the 6th Episode of Super Robot Red Baron: "Red Baron Combat Disable".

History
Deviler springs the next trap on the members of SSI by targeting the home of Scientist associated with the team; the heroes take to protect some of them only for Ken and Tetsuya to be siege by Iron Alliance foot soldiers first with Dr. Mori been held hostage; Ken is forced to call Red Baron with the Iron Captain then taking the Command watch hoping to force the Mecha to go to the sea in another attempt to steal it, but Baron doesn't respond.

A bit later, Daigo, Mari and Daisaku arrive and get caught as well; with all members of SSI and Dr. Mori held tied in the house with a time bomb, the Iron Captain calls Viking III to destroy Red Baron as the later still refuses to obey his commands, putting the Mecha on grueling beat down. While this unfolds, Inspector Kumano arrives to Dr. Mori's residence and rescues all the captives just before the bomb goes off. Ken and the others head to search for the fiends, with most been rounded up by SSI, while Ken fends off a group of Soldiers who protect their captain still holding the Communicator; However, is the Inspector who saves the day by stumbling and beating the Iron Captain, recovering the watch and returns it to Ken. The hero is able to call Baron and the two take against Viking III.

Viking III proves no match for Red Baron, as the Mecha is able to put his opponent in place with it Baron Missiles, though he repels with its shield. Viking tries to strike with its sword beam, but Baron blocks it with the energy form of the Baron Barrier. Finally, Ken takes its arsenal out by blasting Viking's sword with Baron Beam, then decimate its Shield with just a mere Punch. The flabbergasted Iron Captain can only watch as Red Baron takes Viking down with an Upper cut and is properly dispatched with Elec-Trigger. Deviler can only vow revenge next time.

Afterwards, Kumano is invited for some tea by the others for saving their lives.

Arsenal: Viking III held a sword and shield for hand, but it could fired a laser beam from its sword. The sword could also unleashed explosive impacts on its enemy as well. Like most robots seen in the show, Viking III could fly with thrusters located in its feet.

Appearance: As its name implies, Viking III the general stereotypical look of a Viking Warrior, sporting a Sword and a Shield welded to the arms, with Horns adorning its head. Its body was mostly Blue/Silverfish in Color, with red outlines below the head, with green eyes, two dark blue horns with a small fin on top and ears below the horns; the lower sides of its torso were blue. The Pelvis sport red outlines and two green rivets.
