So, a while ago I said that I'd scratch over  baddwill 's songs when I got the chance. This is one of the few times I've worked on a track that has vocals. I had to fiddle with the eq's, because I'm not trying to scratch over it as much as I'm trying to scratch under it, if that makes sense.

Just some simple forward cutting. I tried to go all freestyle and awesome at the end, but that kinda fell apart if you ask me. It's pretty awful. I've been watching some tutorials on Youtube from DJ Shiftee called, "Shiftee's Salsa School of Scratch". Defintely wish I had watched those vids before I made this!

I actually like watching him more than QBert's stuff. Give it a look if you're an aspiring vinyl DJ.
