In the Netherlands it's also common to have the washing machine in the kitchen in small apartments. In larger houses they're usually in a utility room next to the kitchen or in the attic.

I've been in houses where the laundry room was adjacent to the kitchen, or off a basement hallway, or the machines were in a bathroom. I don't think there are too many rules.

My washer flooded my kitchen when a pipe burst. I had cloths in the wash, and i wake up the next day to a clear 6 inches of water and a free water fountain

Must be convenient to wash your dishes and clothes at the same time.

Needing a separate towel just for her fluffy tail. It must take a while to get it dry after every shower.

I've had washing machines in the kitchen, garage, shower/bath room and cellar before. And I'm from the other side of the canal.

I wonder how de the little girl leaked in a night diaper that thick P: I never manage to use the now 10L they can absorb in a single night hihi !

To think that when I first read this comic the only way to get baby-is diaper over here was fancy tape to stick to the front of them... Time fly !!

That is so whack that you keep a washing machine in the kitchen where you handle food. I guess it makes it more convenient to wash though after spills and stuff though
