Spending time with her adoptive mother Tabis is usually the cozy kind of activity for Tika. Snuggles, taking care of the rats, or reading.
Her adoptive father Sigmar is quite different - he is most at home with his tools in hand, downstairs in the workshop.
So it was no surprise that he was delighted when Tika brought home a project the two could work on together.
Technically, said project was a person. Well, a part of one. After a little bit of discussion on the details, that person, a Charr calling herself "Twitch", agreed to detach their mechanical arm so the other two could do maintenance on it.
It had been a simple offer from Tika - free maintenance, using whatever parts she and Sigmar could source from their spare parts piles.
But in turn, Twitch would need to accept the risk that Tika as an inexperienced mechanic would lay her hands on the arm.
That deal was surprisingly readily accepted, as Twitch's mechanical arm was in such a poor state that there was basically little harm Tika could do to it to make it worse.
And so, father and daughter went to work, sharing the tasks and tools between them.
Working. Improving. Learning.
And enjoying each other's company.
Tika swore she even caught a hint of a smile in the corners of Sigmar's maw.
Wonderful little companion piece to this one , after Sigmar's player had joked "Where is Sig?" after I showed him and Tabis' player that other artwork.
And hey, he was right, Sig deserved a little screentime too, so here we are c:
Again, done by
lonicera-edulis, who makes such beautiful scenery! Almost all of the details of the workshop was them honestly just freestyling it without much instructions by me. And it turned out amazing!!
Sigmar Mistwalker belongs to a friend.
Tika Icewalker is mine.
