The wolf, or the starving wolf for some people prefer to call her that, has been great help for High Heaven to conquer the Middle Earth, bringing order to the chaos and making sure keeping any gods with intent to go rouge in line. For a mortal, such fear isn’t as great when devoured by her, for their soul isn’t a complete being and tied heavily to their physical form. For a god, it almost as closed to being sent beyond the void, nobody knows what happens to the god get devoured by the starving wolf, but they never come back, their soul fully digested and that possesses much greater threat for such a being that deemed greater than any life they created.
Putting her in the line of an enforcer was a great help, but recently High Heaven has seen her uses becoming less and less important as more realities are under their control and more mortals joining the force for a chance with better life in High Heaven. They are now in complete control of Middle Earth and the wolf, is obsolete. But they can’t let such creature to go lose with the chance having them getting bite in back, the only reason the wolf even stay under their command are the promises of meats to fight against the hunger, God meats that is. But with the lower rate of Gods gone rouge, such supply isn’t always available for her, which turning her to cannibalize on her enemies, or even her own teammates. Considered they are mortals, such damaged isn’t as great to their soul, but it’s still a hassle for others to clean it up and who know, how long until she decides to devour everything they have built for, biting them back.
Luckily, they have just the one they need for the job, a certain man, a certain mortal with a certain personal hatred for the wolf.
