I got to play with a couple out in cali.
and servals are AWESOME

I've never had the opportunity to play with one. Though, my sister says someone in her neighbor has one so I think I'll pay them a visit sometime before getting my own. I've watched tons of videos though. They look super fun. c:

it all matters on the cat but some are super friendly and other are not to much but as long as they are handled by people from when they are little they are great.
the one I liked best was male and they say males are easier

I imagine it's similar to domestic cats. Proper socialization = better pet.

I'm hoping to make it super friendly, playful, and trained to fetch, walk on a leash and use the toilet x3

Also, living room isn't bad. Just lacks privacy. If you had like... a semi-circular curtain around the Love sac that you could tuck back in the day, it'd be awesome.

Even with just Jason and I, there aren't enough rooms. ;; I guess we take up too much space. :P A house double this size and a full acre yard would probably suit us nicely. Until we have kids xD

There are Savannah breeders just down the street from me. They do mainly F3 and F4s.

Neat :O I'm interested mainly in F1 and F2s. F4 and below are too domestic looking for my tastes. F3s aren't bad though!

Whoops, they produce F2's, F3's, and F5's. Their F2s typically sell for around $4k.

Yeah. And F1s are even more expensive. ;; Piggy bank time, yay!

Honestly, it sounds cheaper just buying a serval and then breeding dem kittens.

Not quite! I'd have to make an acceptable living space for the serval, unless I raised it as a house pet from a baby. But then it takes 2 years to reach sexual maturity, and then however long it'd take to get the damn thing to breed with a cat. x)

Ufffff, I've wanted a Savannah Cat for soooooo long now! I'll have to wait at least another year before I can start looking again though (stationed overseas, too much involved with shipping here). Of course, I want one of the bigger ones; F2 or maybe F3, but they can run so much sometimes! I would definitely think it would be a good investment though; uffff Savannah kitty! <3

Will you keep us posted if sometime in the future you do decide to breed? I'd for sure be one of your first customers!

Yeah, they're so expensive!! I certainly can't afford one right now, but that's perfect because it gives me plenty of time to continue learning as much as I possibly can about them.

And of course! If we do decide to become breeders, it'll certainly be a huge life choice. I'll probably keep everyone TOO informed. xD
