• Biography: Brook is one of the many ½ Mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day before Codino was born, making her part of the 2nd line of ½ Mermaids born to the family and is the twin sister of Yardenah. Because Brook was born a minute after Yardenah, Brook is the younger twin. Like so many in her family, Brook grew up with the dream of being a hero like her father is, and like Yardenah, she chose to do so through the engineer path. Though when she saw her younger sister Nawfar dabbling with Ancient & Zonai technology, Brook grew inspired to take up what Nawfar was being a mechanic with. Though in her case, Brook chose the technology of the Zonai. Brook began experimenting with Zonaite that was in the house and started building a number of gizmos from said parts. However, like Yardenah, Brook actually started simple and built toys for her kid siblings to play with (which they absolutely adored) among many other things. Brook soon moved onto developing weapons with her materials, delving into the territory of guns as she did. Needless to say that Brook eventually got into training with her creations and mastered each weapon she developed with relative ease, while also picking up the knowledge of light magic as well. Brook became a nice fit for defending Hyrule’s peace in the end, and she’s been fighting for that, and defending her home world of Olympus ever since. As is to be expected from those in Juni’s family, Brook is a very friendly girl, inheriting only the best traits from her parents. She is a genuine big sister and treats her younger sisters well. She is especially doting on her younger kid siblings, going as far as to build toys for them when she isn’t busy with fighting monsters. However, at times, she has proven feisty. Brook has a great fascination with the Zonai’s technology and loves to tinker with it. Unsurprisingly, Brook shares Yardenah’s hatred of being rushed when she is working on something. Like a handful of her sisters, Brook is a proven absolute mudlark, and she will not hesitate to throw herself into a quicksand pit the moment she spots one. She also gets excited when signs of quicksand are discovered in the area she is exploring. Though she prefers jungles & forests. Creates the cutest Zonaite toys.
• Abilities: Being ½ Mermaid, Brook is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other ½ mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms while in either fresh or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Brook strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Like Yardenah, Brook is an engineer, but her specialty involves Zonai technology. She knows the mechanisms of the Zonai well enough to the point where she can get devices of Zonai origin up & running with ease in no time whatsoever. Brook has even developed & upgraded guns with Zonaite, which makes her one of the few Hylian styled ½ Mermaids to use guns. Even so, Brook is the go-to for whenever Zonai technology is involved. Though a sharp shot with her firearms, Brook is talented with swords, spears, and bows. However, unlike Yardenah, Brook only has access to light magic. Like her other engineering sisters, Brook has her own mech that serves as her strongest weapon. She starts with the following gear & magics.
o Engineer Tunic: A tunic worn by Yardenah while out adventuring, and while working on devices. It’s cute & provides a great deal of defensive power.
o Henrietta: Brook’s personal horse. She is perfectly at home handling snow, and her white coat makes it easy for her to blend into snowstorms for surprise attacks. She is the mate of Domino and is the mother of twin colts.
o Eagle Falchion: A falchion sporting an eagle motif to it. This single edged sword is sharp enough to cut through armor and still cut fruits & veggies.
o Round Shield: A basic shield that’s good for defense. However, this shield is light enough to be thrown as a boomerang-styled weapon as well.
o Mirror Shield: A shield with a polished, gleaming sheen. Its mirrored surface reflects light brilliantly.
o Zonaite Gun: A handgun outfitted with zonaite to shoot out Zonai energy bolts in addition to firing bullets. Brook typically uses a Luger P08 pistol, though she also uses a Remington 51. For Revolver action, she uses a Remington 1875 and a Ruger Wrangler
o Zonaite Rifle: A rifle enhanced & refurbished with Zonaite. This is stronger than the handguns and its energy shots can be charged up to deal stronger hits. It retains bullet usage. Brook usually uses a Colt Lightning Rifle, though she also uses a Winchester Yellow Boy, and a Remington Rolling Block.
o Zonaite Submachine Gun: A rapid-fire gun refurbished with Zonaite to fire off energy bolts at an alarming rate while being able to stack with bullets. Brook’s main gun is an FN P90. She also carries a Mini Uzi, and a Heckler & Koch MP7.
o Zonaite Machine Gun: A rapid-fire gun refurbished with Zonaite that packs more power than the Submachine Gun & is meant to be fired at full auto. She usually uses a Heckler & Koch MG5, though she also uses an M250 Machine Gun.
o Zonaite Shotgun: A shotgun refurbished with Zonaite and serves as Brook’s strongest gun. It retains the ability to fire off different shot types & slugs, and they can stack with the energy blasts the gun is made to fire off. Brook fancies using a Remington 870, though she also uses a Benelli Supernova. For Semi-Auto firing, Brook also uses a Remington 1100, and a Browning Auto-5. She even has an Ithaca Auto & Burglar.
o Zonaite Launcher: These consist of a Grenade Launcher & Rocket Launcher refurbished & enhanced with Zonaite. They can fire off both energy grenades & rockets as well as regular one. Brook uses an M79 Grenade Launcher, and an M1 Bazooka.
o Zonaite Tiger: The personal mecha belonging to Brook, and her most powerful weapon. This mecha pays tribute to the White Tigerzord in terms of appearance and ferocity. It can fire off energy blasts from its mouth to attack and slash giant foes with its claws. In addition, it can enter battle mode & attack with a sword.
o Zonaite Sword: A Zonai sword made of zonaite. It resonates with attached Zonai devices to slightly increase its attack power. It evolves into the Mighty form over time.
o Zonaite Longsword: A large sword used by the Zonai and made of zonaite. It resonates with attached Zonai devices to slightly increase its attack power. It evolves into the Mighty form over time.
o Zonaite Spear: A Zonai spear made of zonaite. It resonates with attached Zonai devices to slightly increase its attack power. It evolves into the Mighty form over time.
o Construct Bow: A bow used by a Captain Construct. Though simply built, it is made of fireproof materials and won't catch fire as wooden bows do. It becomes the Zonaite Bow over time.
o Zonaite Shield: A shield used by Zonai and made of zonaite. It lowers the energy consumption of an attached Zonai device. It evolves into the Mighty form over time.
o Soldier’s Broadsword: A sword brandished by soldiers who once protected Hyrule Castle. Its durable blade is well tuned for slaying monsters. This one is well cared for so it won’t break.
o Soldier’s Claymore: A two-handed sword designed for combat. It's heavy and hard to use but has decent build durability and quality. This one is well cared for so it won’t break.
o Soldier’s Spear: A spear once used by the guards of Hyrule Castle. Easy to use but difficult to master. The iron tip is very sturdy, and the shaft will not burn when exposed to flame. This one is well cared for so it won’t break.
o Soldier's Bow: A bow designed for armed conflict. Inflicts more damage than a civilian bow, but it will still burn if it touches fire.
o Soldier's Shield: A shield once used by guards of Hyrule Castle. It's easy to handle, but its core is made of wood, so it can catch fire. This means maintenance is a burden.
o Sinkomancy: A fun type of geomancy primarily used to make different types of quicksand. Can be used defensively as well.
o Light Magic: Brook is a talented user of the holy power itself. It is used to deal damage to her foes and heal her allies. It has the power to instantly destroy undead enemies, too.
