Cave Lion returns home from a hunting trip, finding his wife Scrawny Marten sitting by the fire making some rope. It's late at night and she's clearly exhausted, but she stayed up waiting for him. She always knows when he's about to return, maybe it's her instinct, or maybe it's the spirits telling her, no matter. Their children are already asleep, so the two will have some privacy before going to get some rest themselves.

I had completely forgotten about it, so I had to sketch something real quick. Not super happy with the anatomy, but good enough. It was fun drawing Scrawny Marten again!

It looks like having a mate is doing wonders for Scrawny Marten. She seems a wee bit thicker than she did the last time I saw her. That tells me that Cave Lion is a decent if not fantastic hunter. Soon, she'll have enough weight on her that she could carry another baby if they both want it to happen.
