Well, this is my first completed work using my digital tablet...*whew* It took me longer than I care to admit. I haven't used my tablet in about 2 years...and I found it difficult to get used to working with it. I'm a traditional girl. But I'm pretty proud of it...I still have a lot of practicing to do until I'm completely happy with the work I'll put out with it, but I hope you enjoy the ride with me! Hahaha..

That's super cute (and well done). I just brought out my tablet, too, and boy did I suck at it. I drew for a few days and got used to it (now I wonder if I can draw traditional anymore. Friction? What is the blasted thing?!) Not sure how your tablet works, but with mine it's a super-slick slab of plastic and a wireless pen. I put some paper over it while I draw so that the pen doesn't go eff-everywhere. Helps a wee-bit, if that's causing you ill.
Hee..thanks, It's my fursona Sunshine :) I have a Wacom Bamboo fun..the larger one...I think it works the same way yours does, but mine also came with a mouse (that I don't use) I like your paper idea thought! I'll try that next time and maybe my outlines won't turn out so squiggly...you think?
Me? Think? Naw, that hurts. But, yeah, the paper thing helps quite a bit for me (and it's a great use for junk mail). Depending on the paper and the pen, it might be really sticky, which can be just as bad as slick. Try to use a piece of paper without creases and don't draw on the paper with a pencil. It WILL rub off on your hand. :D You might consider taping it down, too, but then it might be hard to take off (and if you're anything like me, those edges had better be friggan square, so get the ruler. And the protractor.)
