This is one of those rare artworks where you can see from the small thumbnail already that it's a very emotional, personal piece from the artist.

It's crazy how much emotion you put into this! One can automatically feel the pain, and empathy, by looking at it. :(

The body language, the face, it all looks awfully relatable. She is, symbolically and literally, lost in the dark, alone, trying to survive and heal from this pain all by herself. Maybe she's also thinking in cycles about the past over and over, because this fresh pain is still hard to grasp and understand. 💔
