Have you ever had that sutuation when you put something in microwave for 4-5 minutes, and time is too short to leave to watch or play something, but at same time it's too long to just wait?

Tried to understand wth is wrong with my arts and why part of them looking fine and others terrible, and i got over 100 references from artists i like and then compared them, for almost 2 hours... and i found out the reason! turns out that in 100+ drawings there weren't any that had over 8 colors and no shadows/heavy details, and at other point, simple drawings usally had 5-7 colors and not too much details and bright colors, while mine had about 12 colors and no detalization or shadows, much of empty space, that's why on some of them you could feel that something is missing
