The model sheet of Nick with his regular outfit was kinda ancient, and in desperate need of an update.
I can usually live with my art evolving gradually in the background, but sometimes I have to get down to it and make sure the model sheets are at least somewhat up to date. (´∇`'')
In general there are lots of model sheets here in the back with me. And most of them could use a little visit, especially those of characters that are to make their first appearance soon. I won't be putting out all of them like above, as that's just a bit too much work while the comic needs my attention more. But perhaps you'll see some more of them appear from time to time.

In older designs Nick still had a tail. But I forgot to draw it quite often, which made me question if I even wanted to have tails on my characters. Then there is the thing that my comic features a lot of different species and characters, some of which I thought looked better without a tail. And then there was a silly personal pet peeve where I didn't like figuring out where tails go when people sit, and how pants were supposed to work. It culminated in a decision to remove tails across the board in my comic.
I've been living with that choice ever since. ("—ᴗ—)
