Just keep adding more and more and more color. That's what I do, at least. Though I have no clue how people get detail with oil pastels...

You shouldn't be angered, just do more in traditional media. The only down side to it though is it is harder to fix or alter things than with digital.

I find it to be just as easy to fix things with oil pastel, since all you have to do is draw over it >>

yay pastel =3, yes, pastel goes down very very quickly on medium, like what was said before is that its incredibly difficult to fix. ^^ very nice though

They do make wonderfully rich colors, unlike chalk pastels. They always turn all grey and blah when I use them...

I didn't realize how gorgeous this was until I looked at it up close. Now that I do... WHOA.

(lol, resist my compliment and i'll bring in reinforcements XD)

The whole form just looks softer and furrier (and squishier <3) because of the medium, and the color blending is nice.
