In my lasting posting http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6406252 from my Equestria dreamscape Paynes Gray finally told his story of how he has been banished to limbo but was still able to communicate from there despite The Lord of Shadows http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6397186. He has also made an appeal to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to ask them for help in freeing himself and his wife Sunrise http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6385105 from the clutches of the Lord of Shadows.
All that morning and into the early afternoon Princess Celestia and Luna listened while through me as Paynes spun his tale; however toward the end the strain of constantly communicating from beyond the Veil of Shadow to physical world just became too tiring and he had to break off communications. This left me in the garden with Petina Pony, Twilight, Spike, Celestia and Luna. As everyone else sat and digested the new information that Paynes had provided when Celestia slowly walked up to me and lowered her head so she could look me right in eyes. Then with a slightly mischievous twinkle in her eye she said. "Now Baron what is your story?"
This was an awkward situation for me because with the exception of Petina http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6100949/ none of the inhabitants of dreamscapes know that they are products of my subconscious. For them their universes are just as concrete and real as ours. Therefore if I started claiming I was effectively was their god and creator it would generally crimp the storyline.
Besides even though I am the creator of these dreamscapes when I am in them I have very little conscious control of them beyond what my character can say and do. It is not like the movie "Inception" where I am rolling up city streets and stuff. Only when I am awake can I take all the individual facets, different viewpoints, information and different character experiences besides my own and see all as the big picture and explain it to people.
So here I was now confronted with effectively this dreamscapess' defacto demi-goddess who was asking me who I was.....really. And if Paynes Gray had not facilitated in also transporting Petina to Equestria then how did my friend get here since we obviously had known each other for awhile. Rather intimately according to the information she had heard. So what was my story?
I was as honest as I thought I could be and said neither myself or Petina had been born as ponies. That in our world we were bipedal in form. I left out the fact that there were bipedal equines http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5947758/ but that true horses and ponies were not sentient. She excepted that but then noted that for complete strangers to Equestria we seem to have a fairly decent grasp of the local customs and culture. How did we know that? Oh boy.

"I'm also terrorized on occasion by a vixen pirate/lawyer/rock star/super model bent on taking over the world. I came to Equestria to get away from all that."
Bad joke and undermining the significance of your dreams aside, very interesting to see your take on this series. I've only seen a few bits and pieces, but I have no reason to dislike it. The material seems solid enough for outside artists to build upon and that's obviously what you've done here. Nice work. You put a spin on this show I didn't think was possible.

Yeah I think that Petina and I would take an active role of keeping Vipera out of Equestria. In a way I at least, don't know about Petina, see myself as sort of impromptu good will ambassador. Inviting Vipera to come along would cause all kinds of trouble on both sides of issue.
Technically I guess that is the best way to describe me although i do not practice more orthodox methodology that many do. Instead of trying to control what is actually is happening while I am in the dream state I'll instead make suggestions of what I'd like to accomplish, see or do while I'm descending into to sleep. After that for the most part I just see what my subconscious decides to do. Like I said only Petina knows that she is a product of my subconscious. She is the only one who I'll say can look out of my eyes and see the world as I really see it. For every other character the view is filtered and modified for their world.
I'm pretty sure you correctly meant "id" as sub-conscious. Of course, the id/ego/super-ego model goes into a bit more detail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Id,_ego_and_super-ego
To over-summarize, the id, ego, and super-ego are referred to as parts of a personality, but it makes more sense to call them functions of the brain. Respectively, these functions seek pleasure, reality, and perfection.

Well honestly that's kind of easy to answer, I think at least, that you just tell her the truth. That here we are aware of them as a childrens show. Heck even brig up that this seems as nothing more as a dream to you might be an interesting thug to bring up.
Honestly I even have a guess how she might react to that but I'll keep that to myself.

I said it, didn't I? You don't get away with anything around Celestia!
Of course, Celestia might counter that you're not creating everything from your subconscious, just tapping in to other realities and experiencing them. That would make Petina less a product of your mind and more of a willing companion / conspirator who "latched on" to you somewhere along the way.
I hope you asked for a private discussion with Celestia. There's no need to distress even just Twilight or others who might overhear with this revelation. Luna, maybe, especially as I've said all along that "dreamers" should be under her oversight.

Oh there is another installment of this dream coming up. This one dream I had spawned a huge amount of information and ideas. Everything from Tea with the Princess http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6361042 to this most recent posting is from that one day in the garden. I have just needed to break the story over several postings so could more clearly describe it. This has been a turning point in the whole dream cycle.
I look forward to any depictions of your dreamscape visits to Equestria -- whether that's solely your creation or my version where you're visiting a "real" magical land. (And from the description Paynes Gray gave of plucking you as a glowing spot passing through his limbo, I'd lean toward the latter.) You could even just do idle depictions of ponies, places, and events made up out of whole cloth and if they're on-model for Ponyville and Equestria, I'd follow avidly.
Besides, Lord Shady is still out there. (Yes, I mock him. He needs to get over himself.)
SPECULATION: Now if you wanted to "prove" to Celestia that her world is entirely from your subconscious (assuming she can't rationalize another explanation), you'd probably have to violate your current lucid dreaming rules. Maybe by telling yourself that on your next visit to Equestria, Twilight and Pinkie will have swapped colors (but not cutie marks) and no pony but you and Celestia will be aware of that fact. That would be difficult to dispute, although I'd also suggest undoing the change on the next dream/visit.

I am thoroughly enjoying this story your unconscious self cooked up. I'm simply astounded that you dream such vivid, action-packed, and yet plot-sensical dreams. So jealous right now because my dreams never follow a logical story like this.
I can't wait to see what becomes of the Lord of Shadows. Got a soft spot for dark/shadow/night themes, though I always want to turn things around and make them the good guys. Why does darkness always have to be evil?

If I'm not mistaken, there's a certain delay between your dreams and them being posted here; for example, this very picture was uploaded a few days ago, but it's been a long time since Celestia actually asked where are you from and how do you know about Equestria. This means that, if your revelation that the ponies are from a TV show (and, indeed, maybe even the death of the Lord of Shadows) ever happened, it was a long time ago... and any sorts of thing could have resulted from the truth. None of the ponies might ever be the same anymore, not just Paynes and Sunrise.
I've also noticed the various comments asking you for tips on lucid dreaming, but most interestingly, there's also the suggestions that the dreamscapes are real and you are somehow traveling to alternate dimensions. I've never been into the... does traveling to alternate dimensions in your dreams count as paranormal? So I don't think it could possibly be real. If anything, I would call it "self-insert fanfic, except it's actually done right for a change"; the show's characters act like themselves, the author avatar isn't a special snowflake who develops new superpowers every few seconds, and the well-written plot doesn't have the show's characters bow to the avatar's every whim. I also agree with you when you said it could be a product of observing the world. Watching the show, you must have thought to yourself "Hey, this is a great show, I wonder what could happen if I wrote a story for it?". Then your subconscious starts lingering on to that thought, and wham! Next thing you know, you're dreaming of yourself and Petina as ponies in Equestria.
But, if Andur and A&K and everything else all prove to be real alternate dimensions someday, it could (and will) open a whole universe of questions. Is every ficticious universe real? Do their "creators" originate their existance, or do they already exist? If they already exist, how do the creators "create" them? Do they already know they're real, or do they... yes, "tap" into them? It could be a hell of a turning point in fandom history.
I'm reminded of a news story I read once, about a guy who claimed he had been in an alternate Earth where the Beatles never broke up, were still alive, and were still making songs, and he had stolen a demo tape and uploaded it to the Internet as proof. I don't remember much else, but the tape apparently sucked. The reporter concluded Yoko Ono wasn't so bad after all
It's moments like this when I'm ashamed to be young. I know I'm no groundbreaker, but everyone else broke the ground better than I possibly could :P And sorry for the shameless plug/possible attention-begging? in the middle of a comments page, but I would love your opinion about The Adventures of Ognimod (the novel I told you about in a note; the note was out of pure boredom, but you're becoming a huge inspiration for me. Heck, I grant you the full right to tell me it sucks if you must ;))

"If I'm not mistaken, there's a certain delay between your dreams and them being posted here" Well not that long ago. Within the last month things really started picking up steam, but yes I am usually not able to post the same day things happen. Real world keeps me busy.
"It's moments like this when I'm ashamed to be young." Don't be. You are only young once. Treasure it and don't waste it for you won't get another! Now is the time to take risks and find out what and who you really are. Don't waste it because when least expect it you'll suddenly find yourself thirty+ years old and a who bunch of responsibilities and obligations that constantly distract you from having the time to be truly creative.
