Hi everyone, in me bringing some more of my work order I decided to bring the language I created for the Mystic's in my Magna-Verse over to here, a language I made while making the first story arc of the Magna-Verse as a whole. This was me expirementing with conlang and I hope everyone finds it interesting^^ This took me an insane amount of time but it was a lot of fun :D
The mystic language is an ancient one and is both a written and spoken language. Based on dating, the oldest physical examples of this language date back a staggering estimate of around 500 million years old, with even older examples rumored to also exist. Given it's age, the language isn't spoken by any current civilization and is largely deemed a novelty language, those who have studied it however recommend others learn it should the mystics ever return as some claim it is a divine or even holy language.
In terms of learning the mystic language, it is a relatively interesting language to learn but does have some areas that have trial and error due to some concepts incorporated into the matrix of the language itself, here we're going to go through the basics and the overall complexity as well as comparing the english alphabet to the mystical one. As for a dictionary, we'll worry about that later, for now we're just going to focus on the language itself.
For past tense the word ends in a 'is and for current tense a 'que is added at the end and these are also used for feminine and masculine respectively. There is also a future tense phrase which is 'ka which roughly replaces the phrase 'will be' and is placed at the end of the word or sentience as the examples down below will show.
Fire = Laro
Fired = Laro'is
Fires = Laro'que
Will be a fire = Laro'ka
In terms of the gender side of the first two terms
Fox = Lxd
Female Fox/Vixen = Lxd'is
Male Fox = Lxd'que
These are also used in a compound way, for example:
There will be a female fox translates to Cyoro Lxd'is'ka which is procouned se-orou le-x-es-ka
Names of people remain unchanged, but names of things like factions, locations, etc. may or not be changed depending on the speaker.
For example, William the Conqueror would translate in mystic to:
William Jxuwmorxr'que(pronouned jeks-u:-wo-mor-exer-que)
The title however stays the same even if the person in question is deceased and thus is used as an honorific for the title rather then being used in present tense, here is another example but switched around somewhat.
William was a conqueror
William Jxuwmorxr'is
This rephrasing shows the past tense with the 'is as it can't be attached to names unless the name is one of unisex and even then it isn't required.
For the name Alex which can be viewed as male, female and/or unisex, the name can look as any one of these three based on the individual.
Alex - Unisex
Alex'is - Female
Alex'que - Male
Here is an example of the name Alex with the title from before with the variations
Alex the Conqueror
Alex Jxuwmorxr'que(unisex)
Alex'is Jxuwmorxr'que(female)
Alex'que Jxuwmorxr'que(male)
However if the name is already feminine which would be Alexandra, the name would not receive the 'is at the end like how the name William wouldn't receive a 'que at the end as it is already and masculine name.
Here is an example of a complex sentence, first in english then in the mystic language:
English:
Mei will be back, she has some errands to run!
Mystic:
Mei'ka, kyo orrvuik'que rmu'que!
Notice that the sentence drops the words 'has', 'some' and 'to', this is done on purpose to keep the sentience streamlined if the speaker has to quickly form a sentience, though if the speaker wishes, the word 'some' can be added back in it's place in it's mystic translation and would thus read like this:
Mei'ka, kyo kxpo orrvuik'que rmu'que!
Adding the 'has' and 'to' is not necessary given both the future and present tense already in the sentence.
On paper, the mystic language is very confusing as it often uses letters that are dubbed 'invisible', for example the word 'wolf' appears as 'fxzl' but is actually pronounced f'ex-zel and this has led to numerous confusion among scholars and archeologists in decrypting many, many tombs as the ancient language doesn't really have much of a comparison. This is due to how the languages pronunciation system is set up, as while it is a stress based language it is also a flowing one as the tone from each letter carries to the next to create a unified word, this is described as 'the flowing' or 'silent letters' as the mystic language in terms of sound is similar to most others, most notable cross references are found in english and french with both long and short vowels found in the former, with the system being open syllable and it's stress system has stress on the second to last syllable if long, otherwise it is third to last, this combined with constantants across both languages gives the mystic language a wide verity of tones that some can argue is symphonic in nature.

What has intrigued many is that the letter 'R' remains unchanged, leading to some speculation that the letter 'R' may have some universal meanings or even play a major role, though it is unknown.
In terms of a writing system, the mystic writing system uses a form of glyph for each letter and number, in the form of wave lines, dots and circular shapes(which are displayed above.
