I am IN LOVE with this one<3 this is my BABY

SO. STEPS.
I made the sculpt out of plasticine clay.
made a cast of it in plaster
mixed some green and yellow acrylic paints into some RD-407 latex
slush casted the mask
(THE GILLS ARE ADDED FROM A SEPERATE GILL MOLD)
which, the gills were cast in a lighter pigment of green
after pulling the latex out, I let it sit for a day and it firmed up to its final thickness which is really nice actually<3
Then I drybrushed acrylic paint onto him as I saw fit :)
yes. I used acrylic paint. AND it's holding together perfectly by the way.
sadly the plastic face shape I have to make these things with is a bit smaller than an adult's face PLUS the latex shrinks a tiny bit OY VEY. so I had to cut the forehead piece seperate from the mouth piece but it looks great!
and yes, when tacked correctly on your face you will be able to open and close the mouth. :D
anyone interested in one of these babies?

I can also make as many gills as needed to maybe layer down your neck!
I can also make him any color of course as I have only to add acrylic to pigment the latex itself.
a full piece like this will have to run you $50.
that means dry brush painted and everything :/

I think this sounds fuggin' AWESOME! Tell me, if someone JUST wanted some gills, what would you charge for those?
