Introducing: Cursed Items! These items often spawn from triggered traps. From Modified Escape Orbs to Transformed Pokémon, these typically aren't very safe to use, so you should be weary of the items you pick up. In here, if its not an apple, its probably cursed.

Cursed Item 1: Gummi Escape Orb!
This item will turn the user into a Gummi and then trigger an Escape. Since you escape right after the effect, it is impossible to cleanse this curse.

The carried escape orb of a Pokémon that has been turned into a piñata becomes this item. When they take damage, they can drop this item. It is safe for Piñatas or Food-Mons to use this item, but others should beware! When the Piñata Curse is cleansed, the orb will revert to normal.

And look! Totodile got their Escape Medallion! Hmmm... they only made it to floor 3 before quitting... I hope living life as a Gummi is worth the 3 floors of gloating. I wonder what flavor they are...
