Here is the design sketch of the raw design of the Driag, an extraterrestrial species featured in the M.V.

Evolved on a very low-light environment from the cavernous remains of a planet's mass spread through an asteroid cluster, the species has a noteable sensitivity to temperature difference. Their thermal vision so acute that even their screens, keyboard/devices, and their own seals/emblems of their units are but a few degrees celsius different from the metal plate they are placed.

They spread across their home cluster of planetary debris once they figured out short-distance space travel, finally emerging from their home rock's cave network to finally spread out for more resources.

Early ventures of their FTL experiments actually caused a galactic incident in the Sol Local Year 2038 (SLY-2038) when their first warp jump exploration ship ended up crash landing hard onto the surface of Earth. Off course and terrified, the several hundred-strong crew fought for their life in the area surrounding the crash site with the local Human military. There were no Driag survivors from what would be known by Humanity as the S.H-80 event.

Now with that behind them, their society is structured around floattillas of roving colonies of Driag. Despite their still mutually charred feelings towards the UEG, the two species have grown at least to decent terms in the galactic community as of the 2400s.

Featured here is some basic studies of two specific lineages of Driag, the top two being that of those seen in the S.H-80 event, and then the more common lineage seen throughout the stars.

Their weapons are based on radioactive shards of heated rock known as Bolts.
