Illustration for the NordicFuzzCon trading card collection #79. Their 2026 was Cirque Du Nord.
On the back of the card, it describes:
The flying trapeze is a common sight in circuses. It takes strength and coordination to perform such daring tricks and you better not be afraid of heights!
With precision and grace, they fly through the air, casually refusing to acknowledge gravity.
For this illustration I had to see and watch an absurd amount of references.

Those were not easy poses, I was looking many photos and also watching videos of flying trapezes, and then for the perspective, I used one of those posable dolls to make similar poses and checking how they look in different perspectives, these are the dolls I've been using, are veeeery useful, I recommend them to you: https://i.etsystatic.com/49829865/r.....73139_dd7z.jpg
This drawing is super magical, cute, and cool, Paco!!! I love the circus tent, the lights, the cool and cute outfits, and the poses a lot. I know that this took a lot of time to do this and words can't describe how super adorable and good this drawing is.
As a silly clown himself, Austin would love to do a trapeze act as well. The only problem is his weight since he can be a chubby husky clown, especially in his adult form from eating too many cakes. If that is the case, it might be really hard for the other person to catch Austin during the trapeze act without having trouble to carry him without any problems, lol. XD
