Marriage seems like such a fickle fantasy these days... but it's a dream many have.

When you find it, don't marry for the wrong reasons. Do it because you really WANT to spend the REST OF YOUR LIFE with that person. That's what it means. To dedicate yourself for life.

My boyfriend and I have had a lot of really serious talks about children and family lately. He's told me he wants to marry me, and that he would love to call me his wife. When I found http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6292870 on FA, I loved the idea of the pose - vulnerable, sweet, desirable. And so I asked her if I could adopt it, and she welcomed me to it.

The inspirations I had were that pose and all those ring-on-a-book-has-a-heart-shaped-shadow things.

Since my boyfriend and I have been so seriously discussing these things, and we have an anniversary tomorrow, I thought something a little more serious would be nice as a gift.

So here's Vix, with unconventionally straight hair (I seriously just did NOT want to draw her curls in this picture...), presenting her special someone with the symbolical ring-and-shadow, in the heart of her palms.

I hope he likes it. I spent a lot of time on it, and am pleased, if not with the picture itself completely, but the symbolicness.
