Yes! I love the idea of Irene becoming a real Church sanctioned mage, like I commented at one point previously. Like I said, the Church might even allow her to still use a form of necromancy to fight necromancy so long as she doesn't use the remains of sentient life, sort of fighting fire with Holy fire.
