Syana is hopeful that her life is about to begin after leaving her repressive flock. She's a Simurghi, part dog and part bird, thanks to a blessing or a curse caused by her ancestor catching a magic bird that brought about an enlightened, spiritual transformation. She's been having a rough time fighting her shadows, but when she comes through she'll be at peace and have some spiritual powers too.
