The shaman had called upon Radiance, God of the Sun, to bless his party before they ventured forth in the Swamplands to gather supplies for his tribe. As the ritual ended, he raised his gaze toward the Sun's zenith, and was surprised to see that the clouds that once covered it had parted, Radiance himself standing among these. He just had time to meet his silent gaze before the god disappeared, yet he felt elated: the god had shone his light on him, and he was sure to succeed with his boon.
