Avianthros are cool. Anthro griffins/gryphons/gryphens/griffons/griffens/gryphins (did I miss a spelling?) are cooler. But not this one.

I had actually been wanting to do an avian anthro for a long while now. The problem is that the wings would prove somewhat difficult for me to draw, so I've been avoiding those. But a gryphon anthro should be easy, right? Lion legs, bird-feet arms, wings on the back. Unfortunately, this one didn't come out right. I'm thinking it needed more detail, as it kinda looks to me like he's wearing a shirt and furry pants. And the wings are terrible. I think part of the problem was that I was too lazy to draw actual feathers, though I'm sure I would've skrewed those up as well. Oh, well. At least the dragon looked decent.

I'm definately gonna have to try a gryphon again sometime.
