Heh, technically the same thing, but it wont help you much. Fur is heat isolating and the suit nulls out IR radiation...we use millimetric radars. Good against distortion fields and stealth technology.

That's one hell of an armor. But once I see something' this good, first thing I ask is, how long it takes to put it on, or to remove it? Or you put it in February and don't come out until late November? :D

Putting it on yourself can take you quite a while. If you got somebody else helping you it's gonna be on you in under 5 minutes

Oh, that's good.

Q1: Other than your weapons or martial art skills, what could stop the enemy sneaking on you and clicking the 'open' button?
Q2: If a projectile / energy beam induces a life-threatening injury, how a medic can open the suit if the trooper faded out (can't open it from inside)?

I never quite had an answer to these to. Either there's a life support circuit that releases latches automatically on a radio/infrared code, or it could be opened by anyone and it's up to the trooper not to let anybody close.

A1: There is no open button that cracks the entire suit, it's a series of lock mechanisms ;3
A2: The locks are manual so it doesn't require power to operate. Manual is still more practical than automatic removal of sorts
