The Legend of the White Ghost
From early childhood, Elric was distinguished by an unusually light coloration. Partial albinism easily gave the predator away even in the densest jungle thickets, and even more so at night: it seemed as though his skin reflected the light of the moon and stars and glowed as if smeared with fluorescent paint.
Because of this trait, the predatory tribe did not accept Elric, calling him cursed by the heavens, for in the wild world any deviation from the norm equals death.
However, despite his peculiarity and the tribe’s rejection, the albino tyrannosaur was strong in spirit. Even as a hatchling, he tried to survive, pushing himself beyond his limits so as not to fall behind his peers and to learn how to hunt. Although at first this truly proved extremely difficult for him. Failures and setbacks multiplied until one day Elric constructed a trap into which a rather appetizing prey fell.
The innovation was not accepted by the tribe and was, to some extent, mocked by the elders, for traps were considered the domain of the upright-walking apes and were automatically seen as a sign of physical weakness, unacceptable for a predator—the king of the food chain.
As soon as Elric became a sexually mature male, he left the territory of the tribe.
Since then, across the endless expanses of jungles, savannas, and barren deserts, rumors have spread about a certain lone predator who has become deadlier than lightning and more cunning than even the most cautious snake.
Sometimes he has been seen near the tribes of the upright-walking apes. They say the snow-white lizard, marked by the heavens, may bring either death or protection—it all depends on what price you are willing to pay and whether he likes your offer.
