Bram Donders is one of the hotshots of his era in Formula 1. Born in Belgium in a family of racing drivers, he had the privilege to get into motorsport at an early age. But his training was hard, especially with his strict father who tried to push him. But Bram was level-headed. He was thriving under the pressure, winning youth championships as if it was nothing. He quickly climbed up the ranks, and his meteoric rise didn't go unnoticed: a talent scout from the Mercedes F1 Team had seen thing young boy doing amazing stuff, and approached him and his father to join their academy program to support him in the lower Formula series on his way to Formula 1. And Bram made sure he wouldn't disappoint them...

When he entered F1, he was the youngest driver ever to join, but instead of the main Mercedes team, he was relegated to Williams to drive there as a rookie. His young age was critiqued by the media, claiming that it was irresponsible for a seventeen year old to drive such a car. But even in sub-par machinery, the young driver impressed with his speed, outpacing more experienced drivers in arguably better machinery. He failed to score a podium, even though he came close to it on a few occasions, but nonetheless, it showed he had potential. In interviews, however, he's known for his brutal honesty and directness, not sugar coating any of his words. To some in the paddock, this was a bit of a shock...

The next season began the same way, but after a brutal crash of one of the Mercedes cars, injuring its driver severely, a rare opportunity came for him; Mercedes needed a second driver in their team for the next race, and they decided to gamble by instead of filling that seat with their reserve driver, they wanted to put Bram in that seat to see what he was capable of in a top team. For one race, he would drive in one of the best cars of the grid. The race that followed was one for the history books; Bram was leading the race, holding off a Ferrari with one of the most experienced drivers in the field, but when the chequered flag waved, he was the one that crossed the line first. And as the youngest ever winner of a race, his name became legend. But the next few races he was back at Williams again as Mercedes had their regular second driver back, but for Mercedes, it was clear they needed Bram in their team soon enough before some other team snatched him. By the summer break, Mercedes announced that Bram would join their team next year.

Since then, he is racing for the famous Silver Arrows, having won many races. He's a fierce rival of Ferrari driver Imola Mantovani, one of the other big new talents of his era with a similar extraordinary story of her rise through the ranks. Outside the paddock, the two did become good friends, and they had great respect for each other, even when on track they could be ruthless towards each other...
