In the midst of a fight, one would be forgiven for looking at Sorrel, who often sits in the rear launching blasts of lightning at his foes, would be poorly equipped for a close quarters battle. Far more often than not, anyone attempting to rush out of position to try and quickly dispatch him learns this is a monumental mistake. Thanks to his hybrid nature, Sorrel is able to manifest multiple, shadowy limbs much like a Mimikyu, and is quite capable of using them to pulverize, crush, and smash any foe who gets within their range. It's far from unheard for him to simply scoop someone up in the mass of limbs and immediately attempt to devour them to keep them out of the fight.

Because of their nature as energy, Sorrel can't actually feel through these arms, meaning attacking them won't dissuade him, but sufficient force or energy can dissipate them. But with some many rushing you at once, not many get to take advantage of that. Probably safer to just try and run...
