done yesterday for a one hour pixel compo with the prompt "Go to a random location on Google Street View and make pixel art of someone visiting it (feel free to reroll)". i spent a significant part of the one hour being really picky about what place i wanted to draw so it was more like 45 minutes after submitting 15 minutes late (thankfully without penalty, though i still (fairly) got last). the location is the bridge between the main island and coney island in the archipelago of bermuda, looking upon what i assume are some piers from a past bridge.

i think focusing on the lines was a mistake; i feel like i could've done better with simple color blocks (probably with better-contrasting colors, though i do like my desaturated palettes) and a bit more texturing; i should get an actual pixel art program instead of drawpile so the latter would be less tedious. i want to do more of these
