Ive been brewing an Mizutsune Idea in my head for awhile and I finally drew him down. Basically: He's gonna be a freelancing scientist who travels from faction to faction investigating anomalies. He doesn't do this out of the kindness of his own heart - but rather he does it for the love of the game and to add to his own studies.
Another thing I'd like to mention about him is his coloration, before his current career he was significantly darker and richer in color with a severe hormonal imbalance. Studying to make various hormone therapies and remedies they inadvertently cause his colors to lighten and dull into pastels. It's obvious when he runs out or intentionally stops his balancers because his colors will revert (they also revert when he enrages) - the imbalance hampers his scientific abilities; he finds it distracting. He can be extremely short sighted, especially when he weaponizes empathy to take advantage of someone's weak or good nature.

He wears glasses because he has poor eyesight. I still don't have a name for him yet.
