As the night guard patrolled the many darkened rooms of the art gallery, he idly mused over the myriad of pieces and the multitude of styles. He was very happy that he was accepted for this job, as he never tired of being able to freely appreciate all the works as he makes his rounds, even if it may not be in the best lighting. However in his work he was intrigued upon noticing that there was a display light on that shouldn't be. Moving forward to investigate it, he's distracted immediately upon noticing a painting that he had never seen before?
The ornate frame clearly was designed to match the art within, with golden filigree decorating the borders. The subject was seemingly an elegant anthropomorphic snow leopard lady (curiously possessing of wings as well) who was sitting in an upscale yet simple library setting. The guard steps forward to look at it closer, confused that the subject matter is strangely out of place, yet is so detailed it feels almost lifelike...
As he's scanning over the details he suddenly jumps back, sure that he just saw a bit of motion out of the corner of his eye. Whipping around he brings up his flashlight and peers around but finds nothing. Returning his attention to the painting, he's about to give up and make a formal note to communicate about the appearance of this piece and to see if the lighting was hooked up improperly for it to still be on this late, but stops again. He could have sworn that the snow leopard lady was sitting before, but now she is clearly standing in front of him? But then she clearly moves again in front of him and he is frozen in place as his mind fails to understand what is happening before his eyes. She reaches forward and somehow her arm stretches forward and past the plane of the canvas to grab onto the outside of the frame itself! Leaning forward one of her large wings and her upper body pulls itself out of the frame as well and she finally makes eye contact with the guard, giving him a haughty look like she has something planned for him...
