Not sure what came over me lately, I've been suddenly obsessed with making new characters and I guess my current outlet for that is open species. I'm surprising myself by making designs I actually enjoy though, I'm my own worst critic but I kinda love this guy.
Psyraps are a species I've admired for a few years, but never had the inspiration to create one myself until the idea for this struck me out of the blue and I couldn't stop thinking about it until I got it done.

Kudos if you can recognize the texture used in his name - if you do, you may also know what he's named after, which is what somehow injected the entire concept for this design into my brain.
