Some lore about the puffer.
His name is Vaeroth and is the younger twin brother of another character named Xiron. The parents only expected Xiron so they viewed Vaeroth as a burden. Viewed as a freak of nature since he lacks a tail. As a young adult he encounters a false god that chooses him as a prophet. With his otherworldy master he forms a cult. He even manages to get his older brother to join it. Once the parents catch wind of this, they make an attempt on his life, only to be struck down by Xiron. Vaeroth's cult spreads yet remains hidden from the public eye. His cultists kidnap "heretics" to experiment on in attempts to create a vessel for his celestial master. These experiments fail, resulting in monstrosities.
