Despite the fact that Kogenta had received Rangetsu's wish to lose quickly, the two tigers simply embraced in silence upon arriving at the hotel.
"Rang, I shouldn't have spoken to you so harshly," the white tiger said. The black tiger shook his head.
"Don't blame yourself; I made the decision to cheat. Blizzard did the right thing."
"But what about our duel?" Kogenta exclaimed. "Without you, there won't be a duel..."
"I'm not sure the audience would want to witness our feud on screen, Koga," Rang said. "Besides... I want you to become strong."
"But why?" the white cat asked in surprise.
"Because I love you..."
Rangetsu pulled Kogenta into his chest, and the white tiger could hear the warrior's powerful heart beating. It was so loud that Kogenta felt a bit tearful.
"You're a fool," he whispered.
"Perhaps," Rangetsu agreed, "but I don't want you to lose to me. Let's fight when you return home."
"I'd love to!" Kogenta exclaimed.
