The universe that Hyembs belongs to does not connect to the greater setting I'm working on of "Skin to Scales" and is meant to be a way more cuddly, cute, silly, and adorable setting in comparison to my main works. However, nothing that happens in this work of fiction is to connect to any real-life events and is merely coincidence as well as the names or other sorts of media (unless stated.) "Hyembs the Dragon" is about a pink, airheaded dragon who is the self-proclaimed defender of the massive fantasy city known as "Grandiopolis." the home of the tiny and small folk surrounded by gigantic and dangerous Kaiju. Hyembs the Dragon was created by one of the original legendary heroes, who was a powerful wizard who sealed his creations away to eventually be awoken when the world was in peril. Hyembs the Dragon would arise centuries later by the Kobold Knights who managed to shatter her seal under Grandiopolis. She would make this place her home, and even more so makes sure King Oldbeard doesn't destroy his own kingdom! Go fourth Hyembs the Dragon and protect the realm and those who live in it! (Hyembs the Dragon can also double as my internet persona, but I do not ever want to make it seem too self-indulgent, haha. Reminder, at the end of the day, she is still "a character" of course.)
