For me, vitamin D supplements really helped take the soul-suffocating weight out of the depression and made it much more bearable. Apparently vitamin D is a mood stabilizer, and it normally comes from sunlight, so introverted computery people are prone to depression.

On an unrelated note, I'm focusing more on strength when I exercise. Maybe I'll finally start to see some progress...

If you look to the sky you'll see the stars, which is where we, and everything around us, ultimately come from. We are made of the sun, the ground, the air. How can we possibly NOT bother when such a great gift and responsibility has been given to us? We're living! Out of all of the universe WE are LIVING.

Because my family cares, and becuase I haven't dropped dead from despair so I probably never will. Thinking about moving somewhere better, or at least more stimulating. I will still hope there are better days to come.

I've definitely had a string of these this year. But know that we have friends who will be there for us, so do keep bothering. Things can get better if we keep trying to make them happen. :)

Because we don't know what tomorrow will bring so might as well bother. Not bothering at all is boring. So one might as well bother while alive and wait 'til death to not bother.

Y'know ... before I started this, I thought I'd look up some reference for expressions. So I went to Google images and typed in stuff like "despair" and "depression". And it turns out that the majority of the results were for stockphoto sites. So I'd get hundreds of pictures of overwrought actors holding their head in their hands or screaming at some unseen deity just off camera.

So I said SCREW IT and did it myself.
