Something so serene about peeling back the intricacies of color and letting form speak for itself. A dark brush adding subtle details with a bright brush the simplest of highlights. Getting this simple piece drives home the fact that you don't need a powerful illustration with hues, shades, and backgrounds to make something unique.
You need the subject to tell much of the story too... and forming them in a way which is just as grand as all those other pillars of artistry.
